Managing Breakfast as a Business Opportunity

Nearly 75% of guests surveyed skipped breakfast in their hotel.*

How to capture skipped breakfast sales:

  • Offer take-out alternatives, for example Bowls or Snacks
  • Include a range of breakfast items in the mini-bar, for example Kellogg's bowls, Portion Control packs, snacks, fruit or yoghurt
  • Encourage your guests to have breakfast with effective communication points throughout the hotel

When a guest comes into the breakfast room it must be easy to get a quick overview of the breakfast and see where it starts. If the buffet layout is well-managed, costs per guest will come down as guest satisfaction goes up.
